Today we look at an infographic about insurance companies which questions the agenda of the insurance companies after a car accident. What strikes me most is the incredible profits these companies make and all the tricks the insurance companies try to use for not paying you. I have seen several of these tricks first hand but never reacted but sure will after learning this.

The infographic presents information about the profit of the insurance companies and makes a good comparison to the GNI of some smaller countries. Insurance company Allstate alone has a GNI that exceeds countries such as Uruguay, Croatia and Bulgaria.
This is some serious business and leaves us with an understanding of how the the insurance companies can afford so many commercial spots on prime time television.
We are also presented with information that the insurance companies try to act good and pretend to be on your side if something happens. The slogan from Nationwide still rings in my ears from TV (“Nationwide is on your side”). We get a strong reminder that these companies are out to make money and your interests are secondary.

The design is neat black matte with nice coloring on icons and objects. They are using some great comparisons, like the GNI and the 10 tips and tricks is well planned and easy to comprehend.
Creativity: ★★★★
This infographic is very creative. They show us that we are dealing with profit driven corporations and I think they present their business BD&J in a good way. There are many reasons to speak to an attorney after any injury or accident and this infographic presents just that. An attorney can be helpful since the insurance company sure will work against your claims. The information is relevant and the infographic is selling it in a good way. Great job!
Conclusion:
I think this is an excellent infographic. We learn the stunning numbers that these companies make yearly and I get a reminder that the insurance company is definitely not on my side when it comes to paying for my claims. Pain and suffering and other things that I could get paid for are taken up and if I get in the situation with a big settlement I will sure use legal help. I like this infographic because it has good information about insurance attorneys. Insurance attorneys/ legal claim attorneys is big business here in the US and I think this infographic shows why there is a high demand for them.
